Areas Treated

Oncology Support
A cancer diagnosis can be incredibly frightening. Naturally, individuals go in search of treatment alternatives. However, there are natural treatments that are not safe or suitable in cancer. At Regener8, specific cancer treatment plans are designed based on your cancer type, mutation and stage of disease reducing the risk of adverse interactions. Treatment plans also offer specific dietary advice tailored to reduce any side effects encountered whilst undergoing active cancer treatment; and can support you on your journey. Let us help you identify which therapies are safest and most effective. Please ensure you upload any test information including recent blood works/ pathology reports prior to your first consultation.
Autoimmune Disorders
The interplay between genetics and the environment, as well as diet, stress, medication use, lifestyle factors and nutritional deficiencies all appear to be linked to ones likelihood of developing an autoimmune disease. The connection between the gastrointestinal microbiome and immune regulation is an area that we examine at Regener8 considering many patients self report digestive issues in the years leading up to their diagnosis.
A strong dietary focus and stress management approach is taken to manage and treat autoimmune disorders including conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis and inflammatory bowel disease. Functional testing is often explored to identify the base line microbiome of those experiencing autoimmunity.

Reproductive Health
Having started out in the field of reproductive health for women and couples experiencing fertility issues, Kristan works closely with those experiencing infertility or menstrual cycle irregularities; hormonal challenges such as polycystic ovarian syndrome and menopausal symptoms. Ensuring a diet that promotes hormonal clearance and reduces insulin resistance for example are some common dietary approaches taken to restore hormonal health.
At Regener8, we will consider and therapeutically plan an appropriate treatment strategy to restore and treat your reproductive health issues.
Gastrointestinal Health
Bloating, flatulence, reflux, food intolerances and bowel issues are typical gastrointestinal (GI) symptoms experienced by many. Those who experience such symptoms often try elimination diets in an attempt to understand what is causing their problems. However, it may not be due to food issues but rather a functional issue where the body is not operating optimally. The re-introduction of foods often results in the same symptoms as those experienced before the elimination. In other instances, symptoms may be due to an issue that hasn't been considered. For example, research suggests that 85% of those with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) may have small intestine bacterial overgrowth (SIBO). SIBO occurs when organisms that generally reside in the large intestine colonise areas of the small intestine, causing GI symptoms.
At Regener8, we will work together to truly understand the cause of the problem. If required, functional testing may be ordered for more insight into the symptoms experienced.
